Finally had some time to fish so I checked out the banks around Flamm City. With the light breeze and clouds it made a nice day to be out, as for the fishing the bite was tough.  Had one white that slipped off before I could pull him from the water and something else that sawed through my line and took one of my Tackle HD craws. Fish 2, Klay 0, I suck! Might have to go fish a kiddie pond to regain some confidence. 🤣

Could have been a giant catfish or a gar.  That close to the sippi anything is possible

Those were my thoughts too.  Leaning more towards a gar by the fray of my braided line, it appeared most likely something with sharp jagged teeth must of cut it. Wish I could of gotten it to the surface to identify, what ever it was took my line and I went to adjust drag then the rod went straight.

I don't think gar teeth would fray braided line.  Unlike members of the pike family, which have sharp edges on their teeth, gar teeth are round.  However, that doesn't mean it wasn't a gar...the gill plates on gar are very sharp.
