Dan the fisherman Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 I really enjoy learning and trying new techniques. Summer time is when I have to pull out the old bag of tricks and many new ones I love the summer cuz it makes me a better fisherman, that being said I can’t wait for early to late fall. When fish are Predictable and willing to bite more than a drop shot or a spoon 20 feet deep. Don’t get me wrong I love the challenge of getting them in the heat deep but man.... there’s nothing like a fall bite. I may just be getting lazy lol. Idk. Quillback Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 I hear you, starting about mid-November until it gets really cold is one of my favorite times to fish.

I love the cold all the way through. Fall through early summer is my favorite!!! When I see ice on the boat is when I know I should go lol.
Quillback Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 I have fond memories of this day last December. Next day the cold front moved in that lingered for a couple of weeks and basically deep sixed the top water bite. http://forums.ozarkanglers.com/topic/61506-december-20-indian-creek-arm/
