jdmidwest Posted August 25, 2018 Posted August 25, 2018 I sit in a Z 71 drinking beer and watching a rental property breach the sandbags we built up in Cape Girardeau. That property is a field now and the owner died last summer. But I think we have had several bigger floods since. Once they had to open up a levee down near New Madrid. Twice I have been stranded in St. Louis because I 55 was shutdown due to flood waters. Keep dicking with the rivers and they will pay you back two fold. Nothing beats the power of water.
