Foiled by a chart plotter...

I took my neighbor crappie fishing today.  We tried a few spots and found one that would give up some.  We caught 11 before my bow unit went on the fritz.  I can barely catch those specs with a depth finder let alone trying to catch them when you have no idea of how deep the water is.

Tomorrow I'm going to take it to Clear Cast Marine and see if they can cure it.

The guys at The Marine Repair Center in Springfield do an excellent job with electronics as well.....

Yes Scott and Brad know a lot about them but they don't work on them.  They have been helping me trouble shoot and try different options to fix the problem.  It has been an ongoing problem for quite some time and I have spent a lot of $ trying to fix it.

Me too.  I switched to several years ago.  This is the first one that has given me an instant of trouble.
