Places to Stay

Small club 15 to 20 boats at any given time, Is there a decent place to stay on Stockton that has enough rooms, on the lake with slips and boat ramp there or near by.

Stockton state park. Has all listed plus a great cheeseburger

I'm not sure that the marina is open this time of year.  You might want to call ahead and find out for sure.

 

I don't know if they are open or not but Mutton Creek Marina has a café and motel.

Are you wanting your entire club to be able to stay at the same place?  You Might check out Orleans Trail marina, not sure what their  winter hours are though. Stone Creek lodge might be another option, they aren't directly on the lake, but they have new huge parking lot and access to a ramp down the hill that you could use for your tourneys.

Orleans trail has the hotel that is open and they have a ramp and slips available.  That will be the only place on the water.  Southwinds motel is nice and just a couple miles from ruark bluff ramp.  Stone creek is a good place as well.  I believe another is Mt Carmel Inn and its just minutes from state park marina.  This is based on going now through March.  Once marinas open back up you have a couple more options

Southwinds has some larger full equipped rooms with kitchenette that will sleep around six. They have plenty of outside grills too. Crappie fishing is outstanding right now, so if your looking to clean fish they also have a fish cleaning station.
