James River color

I would like to fish the James above Bridge Port does anyone know the conditions in that area?

Just guessing I would think a lovely chocolate brown.

I drove down there.  The water color is great.  Heading that way in the morning.

I cross the middle Finley every day.  It's been up a bit but mostly clear for the last two weeks.  I'd expect similar conditions on the James from Springfield Lake on down.

I put I at Bridgeport today, water color is good around pt15 & above.  Real clear up Flat Creek.  Clear down to Virgin Bluff

Clearly I went to the wrong place yesterday.  We fished Bull at K-Dock and it was chocolate milk and the dock was still under water.  That lake is up quite a bit.
