Members bassinjackson Posted January 15, 2019 Members Posted January 15, 2019 Wanting to come crappie fishing Wednesday but was concernered about launching due to snow? Any info on ramps midlake to the darn that may be cleared if any would save me an hour and a half trip from Rogersville would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
WeekendWarrior Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 I know PB2 is good, we did not get much snow in Osage Beach. Think I heard Shawnee Bend was clear as well. Not sure about Coffman ramp.
Members bassinjackson Posted January 15, 2019 Author Members Posted January 15, 2019 Ok great thank you just assumed you all had a lot of snow from the reports of St. Louis and Columbia. We had none here just some minor ice on the trees. Few miles down 60 in fordland had a lot of ice and some power outages. Really spotty I guess. If we head that way I’ll give a report.Really appreciate the reply Daryk Campbell Sr 1
Members bassinjackson Posted January 17, 2019 Author Members Posted January 17, 2019 Well i did go up today and put in a Shawnee bend with zero issues. Shot docks for crappie for the first time and had what I considered to be a good day for first time crappie fishing on that lake and first time shooting ever. I brought home 9 big crappie and could have had a limit had I kept the 9-10 inchers. Caught them from right under the foam to glued to the bottom. Best luck was on main lake docks with front of docks in 25-35 fow. Water was pretty stained and black with chartreuse tail was best color. 1/16 oz head. Thanks for the reply on the ramp conditions and good luck to those that get a chance to go. nomolites, tho1mas, snagged in outlet 3 and 1 other 4
