Gumboot Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Looking to take rear bench seat out of Reata 210 fish and ski, so as to open up the cockpit to be more fishing friendly. Idea is to configure it with jump seats something similar to the Lund Pro V Bass. Any recommendations of a good shop that can tell me if it's feasible and what it would cost?
Dutch Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 You might call Tom at Championship Marine in Spokane. He is the best glass guy that I have found.

fishinwrench Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 I know an outstanding, yet reasonably priced fiberglass wizard, but he is a terrible drunk and I think half his brain is gone from inhaling fumes. Still does amazing work but I hesitate to refer anyone to him because occasionally he disappears for weeks at a time.....and never apologizes for it tho1mas 1
Smalls21 Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 BJ's boat rebuilders in Nixa. He does all of my fiberglass work

Preciate everyone's responses, couldn't get the deal done, so I'll be fishing out of my tin for the foreseeable future. Tom at Championship called my right back yesterday.

Yeah. Possibly the quality of his work relates (in part) to cure time. It's possible that 24-48 hours just isn't enough. You can't rush perfection.

He does all of my fiberglass work I used BJ Boat rebuilders to re-do the gel coat and put carpet in my boat 2 yrs ago. The boat is kept inside and now two years later the carpet is coming up and the gel coat is hazy. I took it back three times, got tired of foolin with them. One of those 3 times was for a screw about 3 inches long they ran through the hull. TAKE YOUR BOAT ANYWHERE BUT THERE!!
