Members Fishnok Posted March 8, 2019 Members Posted March 8, 2019 Anyone know if you can access Finley Creek off Aspen/Seneca Rd a few miles upstream from the James? Am trying to plan a Summer float and saw it listed as an access on MIssouri Paddler but the google street view didn’t look promising. Thanks for any help.
Gavin Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 Drive over on your own dime and take a look see. Maybe on the way to or from someplace else. Nobody likes internet scouters. Do it yourself, it is more fun that way. snagged in outlet 3 1
curtisce Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 use to wade from there downstream, Water can be pretty thin but there are a few good holes, That's been 5 yrs+ Never seen anyone using it for boat access The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
Flysmallie Posted March 12, 2019 Posted March 12, 2019 Not sure but I don't think it's worth the effort. Do it in the summer and there is going to be some dragging.
Members Fishnok Posted March 15, 2019 Author Members Posted March 15, 2019 Thanks guys. Am a few hours away or I would drive up to scout. Will just check out the day of our trip. I’ve got some backup floats if the Finley doesn’t work.
Flysmallie Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 If you are driving 3 hours there are tons of better choices for a float. snagged in outlet 3 1
