Someone told me here they are not tearing out dams 🤔🙄

Who are "they".  Dams are removed when needed or when there is a reason such as it is graveled full, if you are waiting to see a hydropower dam removed or a large Midwest reservoir dam removed I suspect you will be waiting a long time.  What happens to relatively small dams, especially in the Northwest is a whole different kettle of fish, so to speak.

Perhaps I know of at least 2 old dams removed here, one mill dam on spring river and was told one on center creek, I hope the save the snail darter crowd leaves Missouri alone, but years from know who knows what political will will be in charge?
