7-1-19 - lower end

this is a report of two trips actually.  took my brother fishing thursday last week.  we fished the lower end.  most of what we caught was on steeper stuff, but did have a few on flatter terrain and they were a bit shallower, like 10 ft.  deeper ones on steeper stuff came on a 3/4 GrassJig.  the shallower ones came on a 1 oz. Elite Mega Blade, and a 1 oz. Elite Black Widow.  had some 3's but nothing bigger.  one of us in the boat caught 11 keepers.  always did like to beat my brother😂.  i took a pic of him holding one that i caught.

last night leonard and i ventured back down stream.  ended up being a good trip.  started out a bit slow.  bounced around getting one hear and two there, but landed back in a cove and caught 7 off one spot.  seems as though there are some that are moving back in again.  the black widow and the big wobbler did most of the damage last night.  and, these bass were also more back to being on flatter stuff.  we caught a lot of fish 20 to 25 ft., but did get a bite or two up in 15 ft.  ended up with 18 keepers.

Same thing about looking for areas with lots of bait.
