Members Jordan Fenwick Posted August 26, 2019 Members Posted August 26, 2019 Hey all, I moved to St. Louis a year ago or so and recently just discovered Ozark stream fishing for smallmouth. I went for the first time two or so weeks ago wade fishing and fell in love. I really like throwing soft plastics like tubes and words as well as jigs. But I’ve read cranks and topwater are a lot more effective. I’m here to make some friends. Discover new water, and learn as much about this as possible!

While some techniques might be better at times there are plenty of ways to catch them. Fish what you like, fish it well, and you will be rewarded. Enjoy the adventure. It's a ton of fun. Gavin Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Welcome. There is a lifetime's worth of river fishing in this state. Some lake fishing too.
