bella vista residents ok from storm???

i got a call from a long time friend of mine that was going to come to the house this morning, but could not make it because his daughter that lives in bella vista, thier house got hit by a tornado last night.  he took them to a motel sometime last night and was heading down to get them this morning to further assess the damage.  sounded as though half the house was damaged, and luckily no one injured.

prayers going out for everyone in that area that had storm damage.

I live in B.V. On my way out at 5AM this morning I could only see tiny portions of pavement thru the blanket of leaves, sticks, & branches that covered the road to the highway. Haven't seen it that bad in my 33 yrs here. Must have had a heck of a blow, but I slept thru it until the power went off. Haven't heard about a tornado, but we certainly had some strong winds.

Thankfully nothing serious at my house besides a few limbs down.  Quite a few trees down, but they've done a good job of getting them cut up and off the roads.  

Did see a house near me that a tree had fallen on, there was already a roofing crew out there working on the roof.

Storm woke me up about 11 PM, constant lightning flashes, howling winds, and it lasted for 20 minutes or so, power went out and was out for about 4 hours.
