Jdecoudres Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Hello, I am going to try to stalk up my white river fly boxes. My go to nymphs are usually midges and scuds and curious what other nymphs everyone else like to use. Thanks for the help.
Members cmoore03 Posted February 27, 2020 Members Posted February 27, 2020 We have landed more fish with the Olive Mohair leech than any other fly on the White. Johnsfolly 1

That fly kills everywhere. The size of the fly, the shade of "olive", and whether they want it dead drifted or will eat it on the swing, are all you need to figure out. I often wonder why I even bother carrying anything else in my boxes. cmoore03 1

My largest rainbow on a fly ate an olive mohair leech. I don't tie them and no longer have any. Caught a lot of trout on it even with poor casting.
