MrGiggles Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 Found a few for dinner. Slow was the name of the game. Free fall to the bottom, pull it up a crank at a time working through the brush, pause for a while. All of them whacked it on the pause. Water is cold, fish are deep. It's a little dirty but still fairly clear from Hawker up to the dam. As for walleye, tried for a little while, everyone else was too. Think I'd rather fish for them in the summer when nobody else is. terryj1024, dan hufferd and Old dog 417 3 -Austin
Dutch Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 They would definitely feed us with some left over. Nice looking specs there. So has muddy water made its way down to Hawker? I just can't catch fish in cold muddy water. It is a bit early for me to be down by the dam but warm weather may put me there looking for greenies.

I don't remember it being any dirtier than by the dam. -Austin
