Members DeeCeeWalleye Posted May 7, 2020 Members Posted May 7, 2020 I target them. Don't see much on here about them. How's everyone doing. I mostly troll flicker shad and spinner/crawlers. How's everyone doing and what do you like best?
MrGiggles Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 I've only ever caught one there on a crappie jig, despite my efforts. I've trolled Martin flats for hours, caught gar, crappie, drum, bass, about everything but a walleye. -Austin
Dutch Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 They have been few and far between for me. Most of the ones that I have caught have been up the Lindley around Pittsburgh Landing.
MOPanfisher Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 The walleye fishery had been much better in past years. Of course I haven't been able to try for them this year at all.
Heretolearn Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 I have only caught one short walleye trolling on Pomme. My son caught a nice one 3 years ago with a crappie jig and that's it for my family on Pomme. I did catch several nice catfish trolling last year on Pomme - including a 10 lb channel. That was fun!
Members mke22 Posted May 8, 2020 Members Posted May 8, 2020 Caught two keepers back to back on Lindley Creek side a couple years ago near a boat dock about 20 feet deep near brush pile Caught them while fishing for crappie on a pink twister tail jig. I've never caught another one at Pomme, but haven't really targeted them either.
Gumboot Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 This is the only walleye left on the Lindley side. She's still swimming so leave her alone. Cal2, Walleyedmike, Heretolearn and 1 other 4
