Jdecoudres Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 I find my self using the wild cat boat ramp exclusively just because it has better place to beach the boat where it is out of current and not banging on rocks. I then run up to the darn area or down to rim shoals so was curious is anyone using a 12 gallon fuel tank. Curious if Anyone knows if the size of it will fit under the rear deck. I don’t have mine with me to measure. I actually have a Xtreme river boat. Do any of you other guys with river boats do the same or are you putting in at ramps closer to where you are fishing? Thanks for the input. snagged in outlet 3 1
Ham Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 I run a 9 gallon tank. I wish it was a 12. I trailer as close as practical to fishing spot. Some of the ramps are problematic, but I usually work through that stuff snagged in outlet 3 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Members Cameron Gillespie Posted July 26, 2020 Members Posted July 26, 2020 I take two 6 gallon tanks. I usually fish by myself so I’ve got plenty of room.
sfiser Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 i take a small 2 gallon gas can with me as an emergency or backup. I believe my tank is a 6 gallon. I can run from wildcat to white hole and fish down past rim and run back up to wildcat on that 8 gallons of gas with a little left to spare. much easier for me to handle that extra 2 gallon can then try to get a bigger tank or stuff another tank in that small space. snagged in outlet 3 1
