Members Cameron Gillespie Posted August 4, 2020 Members Posted August 4, 2020 Went to Norfork today. Caught some real nice fish, but saw people bait fishing in the C&R area and dragging a chain, which is illegal on the Norfork. I know the wardens work it because I’ve been checked there. I just wish they would write some tickets and make some examples. snagged in outlet 3 1

If you see them using bait in the C&R area (and probably keeping everything they catch) then get their boat registration number and call the AFGC poaching hotline.. https://www.agfc.com/en/enforcement/report-poaching/ snagged in outlet 3 1

Years ago they brought in some wardens from other areas of the state, hired guides, and ran a sting operation. Lots of citations written. Probably time for another one of those. Ham 1

I hate poachers. Not much different than a common thief. The warden may or may not show up but at least you'll know you tried. Cameron Gillespie 1

All the charges were dropped in that sting. A few influential people made all the charges disappear.
