Members Basscaster Posted August 22, 2020 Members Posted August 22, 2020 I bought the biggest AGM at Sams this year as a starting battery . I think the graph run on the starter battery. So I bought a new Battery box- attwood- it did not fit in my 98 Ranger. I had to cut the old battery box/holder to fit the new battery and use straps to hold down. Just a thought.

I think rc is for starting batteries RC is mos important spec for trolling motor batteries. CCA is the most important spec for starting batteries. AH pretty much correlates to RC.

Flat bottom jet boats take a beating and most have lead acid batteries I would assume. Mine does. I got the Duracell's on sale at Batteries Plus bulbs. $20 discount if you buy online and do curbside pickup.... My troller batteries are strapped down in trays. Starter battery is in a box and strapped. garyw 1
