Oneshot, you need to get signed up for the Stockton or Trumen lake special hunts.  Guides, accessible blinds and amount of assistance can be worked with.  I help at the one at Stockton and they have a pretty good system going.

Just talked with my Son he said he was surprised I put in for that Hunt.

Them hunts are colder weather and I don’t hunt cold.

Just get Road Kill. Don’t have to have permit and drive right up to Deer most the time.

My Son said I needed to start smoking and drinking again I could do more back then.

The one at Stockton is usually the weekend before regular firearm season opener, it is seldom cold.  Maybe a bit early in the morning, but more often it is warm.

Some days are worse than others.  I went to Physical Therapy Monday and no clue what happened but I went pale, popped a flop sweat and got light headed.  All I was doing was standing in one place and stretching some big rubber bands to strengthen shoulder.  Fortunately the young, cute female PT saw me and slapped a chair under my butt before I collapsed.  I was feeling pretty good about how close she was watching over me until she said, "It must be me, there is another OLD GUY that gets dizzy around me".  Dang girl that one was harsh. 😭
