@slothmanThat's interesting. I was only 9 years old in 2000 so I hadn't heard about that. Any reason why the Finley wouldn't be safe to eat from in 2021? I have eaten several from there in the past 5 years.

Mercury and PCB’s which I believe is some kind of fire retardant. It’s all based on what the fish are eating throughout there life. There is a maximum recommendation on how many meals you should eat for each species.

You probably went to school with my little brother. He was 10 years old in 2000. 

I don’t know how safe or unsafe they are now, but I’m one to be overly cautious. Especially when I can just go elsewhere and catch fish I have more personal confidence in eating safely.
