Hunter91 Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 So hunted one day about a week ago and a buddy and I killed a Speck out of a small flock that worked into us. First one we have ever killed but we both were shooting at the same bird so neither would claim the kill totally or one of us would have had it mounted. No big deal. I have heard they are excellent eats. Don't want to mess the only one I have up. Does anyone have a good SIMPLE recipe? Thanks Johnsfolly 1

Some sea salt, throw on a hot charcoal grill briefly both sides. Rare to medium rare. DO NOT overcook. DO NOT be afraid to eat waterfowl on the rarer side. Beat the breast with a tenderizer, zip lock them up with oil salt flour paprika egg pepper. Then fry em quick. Agree. Don’t over cook. Then make gravy with what’s left in the pan. Hunter91 1
