Gavin Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Matching a thread color is trial & error at $5-8 a spool. You really can do it yourself. Find a box. Make a rod cradle by notching some equal sized V’s on the left and right sides and open the front. Any thread will do. Epoxy will cover it. Run the thread through the pages of a heavy hardcover book as a tensioning device. Works as good as any. YouTube it. snagged in outlet 3 and rps 2
rps Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Just had a thought. Hoglaw is/was a member on this forum. Oddly enough he was a lawyer in Rogers. I do not remember his real name, but he was a good guy. When I was banged up from surgery, he completed a rod from the parts I ordered. He did a good job. See if you can track him down and ask him.
