Members Woodland Artisan Posted February 14, 2021 Members Posted February 14, 2021 Sure did! It was yesterday, the 13th, though. Inside, of course, for a micro-green garden to get us ready for the big stuff later. Couldn't even attempt to sow a row outside today. Maybe in 10-14 days when it softens up.
jdmidwest Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Nope. Was messing around with the boat a few weekends and thought about cleaning one off and covering it. Never got to it. Froze solid as a rock today under a few inches of frozen sleet. Ground so slick now, not walking around with anything pointy that I may stab myself if I slip and fall. No lettuce or sugar snap peas today. tho1mas 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
MOPanfisher Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 I didn't want to melt the cover on the cold frame by building a fire to thaw the ground so I am gonna wait. I did throw some seed in it way back in December and closed the lid, didnt pay much attention to it, should have though I had a heck of a crop of lettuce in it already. Got it mostly cleaned out before Canada came south for a while.
jdmidwest Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 I still had lettuce and snow peas from last fall not long ago. Feb killed all of it off. tho1mas 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
