rps Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Apple changed its IOS. It now saves pictures taken on an Iphone in a ".heic" format. The format takes up less space. Your site sometimes does not want to accept .heic files. If possible, a modification of what files are acceptable would solve the problem. Thanks in advance. rps
FishnDave Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 You can also have your iPhone go back to taking pictures in .JPG format. Larger file, but compatible with everything. How to Change iPhone Camera to Shoot JPEG Format Pictures Again Open the “Settings” app on the iPhone and go to “Camera” Choose “Formats” and select “Most Compatible” to shoot photos in JPEG format on iPhone camera Exit out of Settings tjm 1

Flysmallie Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 .heic has been around for awhile. Since iOS 11 I think. It’s a crappy format unless you just want to see those pics on an iOS device. They could have solved the same issue by putting micro SD cards in their phones and staying with regular formats. But they are a company that likes to force their way upon people. And yes I use apple products. rps 1
