Well either way DHS was developed because of this and Government didn’t want or still want to give any money.

I went to one meeting in Rolla where several units put in for money and was approved for a vote. We had to vote again for them to get the money or if we could work something out for less.

I tried for years saying we needed a Drone. Finally got one but we have to share. Got pallets of MRE’s, Cots, Trucks, Side by Sides, Boats with Jet drive which didn’t take long to find they are worthless in flood conditions and bunch of other stuff.

Bad thing is 98% of the time we do nothing. People are fast to say we are wasting money having this stuff set in Warehouses but comes time we need it they are thankful.

Leave that jet outboard to sit in a warehouse for very long....and see how quickly it leaps into service when you "need" it.   😂

Yes we know. That was my job before making sure everything was up and ready to go.

Talk about money my New Job is to keep track of everyone in the office.

I thought great just write their Badge Number down. Nope found out Badges cost too much. Only Chiefs have Badges all the others I have to get their names.
