So, buddy and I went. 7:15-1:30. Water looked like chocolate milk, but hey, beats Tablerock madness. Didnt get a bite one in the muddy water. Decided to look for cleaner. We fished 3 smaller creeks that you could see the mud line. Hmmmm. We caught a few. 2 small dinks and few ranging from 2 to 3.5. Bladed jig and a finesse style football jig did the job.

This is the first time I’ve fished BS with the water so high. Challenging to say the least.

Thank you for the fish report

There still has to be an early topwater bite shallow somewhere in the back of a creek.   I was just digging through my buzzbaits changing out old skirts, sharpening hooks, and thinking about going this week and get on the water before daylight.
