Members LC Miller Posted October 20, 2021 Members Posted October 20, 2021 Does anyone have any experience in the JSISP area with the Black River. Most of the access seems to be on Private Land or lodges and the few areas for public access seem to be high use (party zones) and shallow. Where are some good spots to get into the river in that area (any of the forks of the Black will do!)
jdmidwest Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Black River from MCFA Lesterville and Centerville MDC access info Upper Black River is shallow and all public accesses are highly used. But, this time of year it should only be the crackheads making meth. Nobody swimming or boating. Gavin Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Your not gonna catch much up in the forks this time of year. The fish have probably moved downstream to wintering areas by now. Grab a map, and go check for access, knock on doors and ask for permission next year. snagged in outlet 3 1
