Tried bois de arc one more time Wednesday afternoon, we never found a bird. Tired of walking mile after mile for a handful of birds. Loaded the dog and went and hit a quick preserve hunt just to get some birds in front of her. Had a good time, lot of shooting!

Awesome. When i was running dogs i would take a buddy 2 or 3 times early season to a preserve. He would do the shooting so i could focus on the dog. The more birds you put in front of her, the better she will be. Dogs care less if they are wild or pen raised. Great picture.
