20 cubic fee per second is difficult on the trout in the summer

We sure could use minimum flow.

Just once I wish a trout would wink at me!

Difficult on the food base too.  Scuds don't do well.

I always love 2 units, but it has been a long time since I have seen anything less.

However, the best day of fishing over my years was when we watched the gates open. It was the first time I ever saw the gates open, so we turned and ran back to Lileys for safety. Lucky for us, Phil looked at us funny and said get back out there and take these white jigs. The three of us caught fat trout for the last three hours of daylight and laughed until we made it back.

We are looking forward to our trip in June with the flows that we are seeing now.  I enjoy fishing the shorter rigs on my fly rod, but never know what to use.

My perfect day is 35 cubic or about half a unit in the morning letting me sight fish with a Megaworm from look out to fall creek, then at noon cranking to 2 units which is my absolute favorite for throwing a jerkbait which is what I would do until dark at which time I like the water off from 9 pm till daylight again to fish off the dock of wherever I might be staying.  To much to ask for?  :)
