Smithvillesteve Posted April 12, 2022 Posted April 12, 2022 We fished friday afternoon for 3 hours in a cold nw wind in Duck Creek. Thats where our abnb was. We caught 11 bass with 4 keepers. Big at 2 lbs. But i was thinking this is great! Sat was bluebird skys after the front and we struggled. We went to Drowning Creek. Only caught 7 bass but i had a nice 2.14 LM. Sunday the wind was brutal with 40 mph gusts wo we were really limited in where we could go. We went to Honey Creek and both of us got shut out. Its embarrassing to type that! Yesterday was a beautiful day to fish. Cloudy with light winds. We waited out the rain and fished from 12 to 3. Had to leave for home. But we caught 11 bass with 4 keepers and i lost 2 nice fish. A nice little cut on the north side of the lake down by the dam. Found a nice stretch of chunk rock bank and they were in there relatively shallow. Hated to leave i think we could have had a great day. Grand reminded me of LOZ. Lots of docks. No standing timber. Water color was great. Mostly 57 to 58 water temps. I would definitely go back. Once again thanks to all you boys on here that offered up some info. MarkG52, m&m, Bassin4fun and 3 others 6
