mixermarkb Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 Nice! what were the water temps where you were? water color?
Pepe Posted May 5, 2022 Author Posted May 5, 2022 WT seemed to drop a bit. Was 58 yesterday. Main lake point, windy but nor dirty water. I have been searching for shad. Sometimes get lucky and find a Wolfpack of SM. Other times one or 2. Found a lot of, what I assume, are bedded fish outside the bushes in the creeks. They would hit hard & spit out the Ned & Shakey worm. mixermarkb 1
mixermarkb Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 I’m coming down Sunday night to ride the elevator up. I had a pretty solid game plan based on what I’ve been doing all spring and where I thought the fish would have gone, but that was based on the lake being 10’ higher than the last time I saw it, and now it looks like it’s gonna be closer to 25’ up. gotta love Mother Nature and the Corps of Engineers…
