netboy Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 After all the rain I made a quick trip to Bull Shoals Dam access around noon today. Fishing was pretty good with 4 nice rainbows on a tiger tail and then when the sun poked thru some caddis started coming up. Put on an elk hair dry and caught 3 more. All nice niced sized rainbows. Pics of a couple of the better rainbows... nomolites, grizwilson, Quillback and 3 others 6
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted May 6, 2022 Root Admin Posted May 6, 2022 You got some of the best water to fish right now. Everything else is blown up.

Agree, I think they are dumping Beaver and Table rock and storing the water in Bull Shoals for now to keep the levels lower for the rice farmers downstream. Need to take advantage of that situation right now as the levels will go way up in a couple of weeks here on the White. Gotta love the caddis hatches right now when the sun comes out, can't beat caddis dry fly fishing... nomolites and Quillback 2
