Ranger520vx Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 Planning on getting out next week but looks like will be dodging a lot of floaters. Lake has come up 8’ since last night. Be careful. Heretolearn 1
Ranger520vx Posted May 6, 2022 Author Posted May 6, 2022 The rise is finally slowing down at 13 feet above normal pool.
MOPanfisher Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 Should crest out tomorrow. Inflows dropped way back, outflow up to 3000 cfs. Still gonna take a while to get back down. But man it's gonna be another awesome spawn year! gwh 1

But man it's gonna be another awesome spawn year! Just what i came to say. One of the greatest positives that come from these floods are the chance that spawning fish have a better success for making it. With the water up, beds are hidden making bedding fish harder to see/catch, which makes for more fry to give it their best to grow into the next 7lber. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. Maverickpro201 Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Any pictures around Nemo area. Coming down mid week.
MOPanfisher Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 No pics if Nemo, yesterday it wasn't too bad, but with releases opened up and time for the debris to move down it will not be clear. Upper Pomme was a mess. The long high water of 2019 left a lot if standing dead timber that has been breaking off and become drift this go round.
Maverickpro201 Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Is the corp gauge broke? I looked this morning and it said 856 and change. Yesterday it showed 859?
MOPanfisher Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 I never saw anything like 859, was an early crest prediction of that but didn't get the extra rain and they always predict high. Leveled out now.
