Well, I really want to get this out of my garage so that I can build a small pram.  For sale is a Motor Guide Great White (saltwater grade) bow mount, hand-controlled trolling motor. It's a 12-volt unit and generates 52-pounds of thrust.  This was used as a photo prop on a boat, but it has never been in the water, so basically it is "new" albeit a bit scratched and dinged from two moves and sitting stuffed in my overfilled garage.

When I first posted this for sale, I asked $100, well below retail. But now, I'm willing to trade for a new, plastic boat gas can (six-gallon) with the appropriate hose for a Yamaha connection.  I'll also consider two used six-gallon marine gas cans in good condition without the hoses. I won't ship but pickup can be arranged in Clinton, Warsaw and southern KC.

Still looking for a home for this... don't worry about the Yamaha line on a tank. A new tank is perfect.

Look at the snow! I want snow right now but middle of next week would be better :)

Keith your check for jig heads went into this morning's Post so watch for it.    When are you going to have a garage sale?

Marty-- Garage sales are work, and I hate work...besides, we would have a serious parking problem where we live.  And to top it off, I would have to sort through stuff and really do a deep sort to get rid of the stuff I'll never use. I've tried doing that, and then I get distracted by things I've been given or accumulated or projects I want to do--like put new guides on my old Orvis fiberglass fly rod..  I need to do it, though, or the kids will be selling pre-Rapala Wiggle Warts for a dime.

I get it! Like I need more stuff anyway? I do tend to accumulate stuff still. Before we went through Clinton from the east, I found two Shakespeare Wonder rods and two automatic fly reels for a real bargain. Going to set up some vintage outfits to fish with.

Hey Marty,  a vintage angler should use vintage equipment.

Those are still vintage. You don't see everyone using them. Heck, I have done prehistoric things give me a break would ya? :) .

Just got through rooting in the basement with the idea of working on my old Orvis rod--got distracted before I stopped all the old guides off-- and looked at a box of older crankbaits, some mine and some inherited. Speaking of vintage fly stuff-- I have three vintage rods I ran into recently: A Hardy fiberglass rod, an unused Wright and McGill bamboo and a bamboo rod that was made in England--likely by Hardy according to one expert-- that was a sample built for Eddie Bauer in Seattle back when they sold fishing and hunting gear. I picked up all three at an estate sale along with  some other things...

Update-- this motor is still waiting for its forever home, as they say in pet ads. I want to get rid of it.

Make me an offer; chances are good it won't be refused.
