I have two fly lines that really need to be adopted. The first is a Scientific Anglers' Lefty Kreh WF5F--$25 TYD.  The other is a Scientific Anglers' Sharkskin Ultimate Trout Taper DT4F--$40 TYD. Buy both, and it's $55.  Both lines are new, unused, unspooled and any other "un" that says they're basically as perfect as when I received them.

I am not very fluent in fly lines.  What would these be used on?  Size of rod, style of fishing  etc?  I need new line, but don't know how to purchase it.

The “weight forward 5 weight floating” is a good all around line for a 5 weight rod.  The “double taper 4 weight floating” is a good line for dries and delicate presentations.  Sometimes you can go up or down a line weight on a rod depending on its casting characteristics/action.
