Delaware Town to Shelvin or Shelvin to Hootentown?

I am looking for some new adventure, walleye are my target species. Sure would like to check the river walleye from a kayak box....dreaming I know.

Not really, it could happen in lots of places.  Spring River in Ark, Current River or 11 PT River, or any place that holds them.  I have caught Walleye out of Spring River in kayaks and canoes.  The other 2 have been in boats, but not much difference, still floating.  Rivers are fun places to catch walleye and sauger.

I love all those rivers, time and distance are the limiting factors.

There are places close by for that. I’ve caught more on the upper James.

How long does it usually take to float and fish? It looks to be about 6 mile, 6 to 8 hrs?

Six hours if you fish just about every hole. But you could honestly make it an overnighter if you wanted to really slow down and fish.
