It comes up by itself.  I don’t need it to be extended but can’t find any way to adjust it.  Is there something that I am overlooking?

I’m thinking about drilling a hole and letting the gas out or drilling and pinning the shaft.  My problem is where to drill.

The valves in those are junk.  The valves in ALL OF THEM are junk.

Get it where you like it, and put a pair of stainless hose clamps around the center shaft to keep it from creeping down.

That's all I got 🙄

It doesn't go down like you would expect.   It comes up all  by itself.

Trap some wire under the hose clamp(s) and lash above the valve mount.  Limiting its upward travel.

Or maybe call Swivel-eze and test their customer service.   They've been in business a long time......Long enough to have a quality product figured out.

If Americans are going to continue to pay premium prices for outsourced products then we gotta start demanding products that work like they are supposed to for more than a week or two.    And none of those power poles are ever worth a crap.    It's always the first thing to go stupid in every new boat.

This has been working for 6 years until recently.  I’m just trying to figure out how to let the gas out so it will stay down.

I drilled a hole in it this morning.  It is down and stays down.  I will find out Monday whether or not it was a good idea.  There was a sizable blast of air when the bit broke through.
