Anyone know what has caused the Walleye showing up with high mercury levels. How is it that there is no warning for high mercury levels in crappie, bass or other species?

Walleye are top end predators. All that accumulates in their forage becomes a residual in them. Like salmon and walleye in the great lakes, we should not eat them every day.

Pretty sure I am safe, can’t catch one every day🤪
