AR Huzgr Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Never been to Indian Cr area before (newer to area) and had afternoon free so decided to give it a try. Launched about noon and fished till 3. Water temps 48 and saw 49.5 in back of Northside pockets. Water clear. Calm wind and bluebird skies. I mainly fished gravel points and areas with a little timber here and there. Did not go all the way up Indian. Caught 4, all in different areas. 2 on keitech's 2.8 and 2 on ned. Was a beautiful day on the water, though a tad more wind might have been nice. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 15, 2023 Root Admin Posted March 15, 2023 Water looks great. Thanks for the report!
Quillback Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 I was up there too, we must have passed each other at one point. I fished from 0930 to about 3:30. I caught 16 bass, 5 of them were 15" keeper sized. Ned rig and 2.8 Keitech. I caught a couple in the very back of Indian, and several on the timbered points in Indian. The rest were scattered around the dam basin area. Carl W and MarkG52 2

Being new to the lake, it is going to take a while to learn the nuances of the lake.
Quillback Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 I have spent a lot of days fishing that area, and it does take time on the water to get familiar with it. I'll keep an eye out for you, I'm in a black/silver Phoenix bass boat. Sure would be nice if this weather would calm down a bit, hard to get days to fish without high wind/rain and or cold.
