I took a hint fron oneshot and headed south last weekend.  Left the rain and 45 at the TN border and hit the sunshine. Pickwick was sunny and upper 70 to 80.  Little windy on Sat afternoon on lake, nothing biting. Hit the river below Sunday morn and first fish out of boat in 2023, 8 lb buffalo on crank bait. 1000000228.jpg

River was up and Muddy, 59 degrees.  My new gps trolling motor worked like a champ holding boat in place while I landed fish.  Few skipjack, drum, and 1 largemouth.  Crossed back over bridge into MO to rain and 50 degrees that nite.  Amazing how 4 hours makes that kind of difference.
