Tough Saturday

Had our club tournament yesterday. We had 18 boats. I was very surprised at the lack of weight brought in. Only took 9.15 to win and 3.15 for big fish. I didn’t fish it as i coach my boys baseball team and we had a game, but did launch and weigh them in. Really thought there would be a few bags close to 16 pounds and big fish of 6 as we had a few local hammers fishing with us. 
 

We run solo so 1 angler per boat with a 4 fish limit, but this time of year i really thought more would happen. Perfect weather for catching hogs.

It takes a few days for the spawned out fish to recoup and start feeding.
