Shad love my boat

So much so that they spawned on the transom and motor today.  

 

A bunch of them were spawning on the bank, and had my own personal shad school following me around.  You'd think that I would've really smacked the bass, but I caught only about a dozen spots early on the Surge Shad before the bite ended once the sun came over the hill.  Had a few opportunities with bigger fish, but could not stick them, and had a good one break off due to a bad spot in the line.

Tried a Whopper Plopper for a bit and they would not touch it.

After the shad spawn bite died off, I moved around to different spots and picked up a few more, but never got into them again. Could not get anything going with the Ned or the Keitech.

Left at 11 AM, bunch of shad around the Big M dock too when I left.
