Brian K. Shaffer Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 Why did the lake level below the dam go from 701.3 to 702.5 ? With the 20 cubic feet per second flow provided by the in house unit - That gives us 20 cubic feet per second flow total when not generating. Not 1000 or 200.... twenty. This causes a back up - a back flow situation in the lake which has become more noticeable with this newer raised lake level. Losing flow is beneficial to nothing and no one. trythisonemv 1 Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 17, 2023 Root Admin Posted June 17, 2023 The only common sense reason is less water flowing out of the pool between the dam and rebar. Thus rebar is slightly higher, holding back water. No other reason I can think of. trythisonemv 1
Members Tom C Posted June 18, 2023 Members Posted June 18, 2023 Bring a hoe and dig out a wide channel at rebar.
Brian K. Shaffer Posted June 18, 2023 Author Posted June 18, 2023 At 5pm - the water has been turned on - the numbers show it - but the flow stays at 20 ? What on earth ? netboy Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 The data for Norfork has also been hit or miss lately. Guess the COE is having some problems.
Brian K. Shaffer Posted June 21, 2023 Author Posted June 21, 2023 Frustrating - it could be done more accurately... and with less human interaction... Nobody of any importance cares anyways. trythisonemv 1 Just once I wish a trout would wink at me! ozarkflyfisher@gmail.com I'm the guy wearing the same Simms longbilled hat for 10 years now.
