Members lobina grande Posted August 29, 2023 Members Posted August 29, 2023 If you had to concentrate all of your bass fishing in one arm of Pomme (in September) which one would you go to? Or would you fish the main lake area around the dam?
Dutch Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 There are some good coves in the dam area. Up Lindley has been good in the fall. Pom is small enough to work it all. I have caught them all over the place. From the dam to Pittsburgh landing is only about 9 miles and Bolivar landing is only about 12.
Flysmallie Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Lightfoot landing to Bolivar landing. Best part of the lake during that time.

Members lobina grande Posted September 12, 2023 Author Members Posted September 12, 2023 Fishing at Pomme was tough this past weekend. My club had a 1 1/2 day tournament and only two people had a limit for both days. Winning bag was 22.58 lbs and big bass was 4.90. The weights dropped to 13.6 lbs for third place. There were a couple of other 4's caught. The winner fished all the way down the Pomme arm catching them on jigs and shakey heads. Wood seemed to be the key. Several good size bass were caught on spinnerbaits off of points. Water temps were 80 in the morning and 83 by the afternoon. It appeared that the water level was down by at least 2 ft. It appears that the bigger bass want to start heading closer to the bank.
Ranger520vx Posted September 12, 2023 Posted September 12, 2023 Actually we are just right at normal pool. And you’re right the fishing has been a bit tough.
