Black Hills 10-7

Fished Rapid Creek below Pactola dam on Saturday, October 8th.  The weather was outstanding.  Highs in the upper 60's.  (Just 2 days ago they were in a winter storm warning and were expecting 6 to 12 inches of snow in the higher elevations.). Caught 15 fish.  14 of them came on either a size 16 pheasant tail or a size 18 olive perdigon.   The other one came on a size 22 F fly.  And the F fly caught the biggest fish, a 17 1/2 inch brown.  Very beautiful country up there.

Nice colors on that brown.
