netboy Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 SWPA has been running water on the Bull Shoals tailwater every morning this week. With that said, I have been making the trip to the Norfork the last few mornings. Fishing has been good there with lots of rainbows, a few browns and a cutthroat or two. The water was a bit high earlier in the week, but today it was back to normal minimum flow. Yesterday there was a good hatch of what looked to be small tan mayflies. A size 18 tan elk hair caddis worked well during the hatch. I had the best luck this morning using egg patterns with a midge dropper. Here is a pic of a nice one from this morning... nomolites, mikeak, Quillback and 2 others 5
