Per Valentine tradition, 2 rows spinach, 1 row ruby red, and 1 row salad bowl lettuce in ground.  Asparagus beds cleared off.

4 active bee hives.  63 today and sunny. Thick pork breaks on grill

I was gonna plant my cold frame today, went fishing instead.  Maybe tomorrow if the Tylenol hold out.

Ibuprofen works better for me when my casting arm gets sore.  Did you catch any?

Doves have been back roosting in my pines for over a week, signs of spring is coming.

Dr. Says I can only take tylenol, something about kidneys I think it was.  Went out with a buddy who has a new boat and livescope.  It wasn't stellar by any means but we did catch 20 keeper crappie and some shorts.

I doubt I plant any lettuce today, the wind is enough that it would scatter it everywhere.  OH well I am usually late on planting it anyway.

I’m glad some of you are doing gardens.  I used to do a lot and we froze and canned a bunch but it got in the way of fishing so I am down to a row of asparagus and a few tomato plants.

Hard to say what I don't gardening.  Have a bed a asparagus, the cold frame and will probably plant 8nor so of my double mineral tubs, with maters, cakes and zukes.  However they all tend to get treated with benign neglect when I want to gonfishing.  I have even been successful in getting my wife to take control of them mostly, now that is a success!

My backyard garden has gotten covered over with shade trees, limited to what I grow there.  But plan on breaking up the big garden this spring at the farm and putting in sweet corn.  May even get a roto tiller for the big tractor, break rows 5' at a swipe.

I hope your corn does well.  Most of my corn attempts fed June bugs and Japanese beetles better than us.

I worry more about coon and deer at that garden.  Squirrels would pillage it here while I was at work.

When I lived in the country the deer ate my pears and left the corn alone but the bugs didn’t.
