Hawgs vs Tiggers tomorrow

Disappointing season for Hawgs hoops this year.  In spite of that, I am going to watch (record) this game.

Hogs may make a run at the SEC tournament title. It's their only hope at this point to make the big show in March/April.

Yep, I have given up hope, it would be a miracle for them to win out at this point, which is what they need to do to make the dance.

Not sure if it's still the same but the conference tournament champions used to get automatic bids.

Dont get too excited about a win over my hapless Tigers boys! The loss v your Hogs set the all time record for consecutive losses. The shine is off Dennis Gates. The arena is half empty again. MU will have a new AD that did not hire him. Supposedly he has a good recruiting class coming in. Supposedly. He certainly deserves a 3rd year but he is venturing out onto thin ice territory.

Thought Gates was an up and comer until this year.  I like what I have seen of him, but this is from someone that watches maybe 2 MO games a year.  The Hawgs have been a disappointment this year too.

And that puts QB clearly into the early clubhouse lead for 2024 understatement of the year.

Seriously, even thru all my years as a sportswriter, I don't think I have ever come across a team with the talent that Arkansas has that has struggled as mightily as they have.
