Jeff met me at 05:30 this morning.  The East ramp and parking lot are closed.  The West is open.  Adock is floating in the cove.  There is a demolished dock in Bearden.  The water is 85°.  Fishing was tough. Few boats were on the water.

were you guys in the Nitro Z20?   I was the other guy there this morning in the Nitro 929.   I had a tough day too.   I went down the lake to about buzzard.    Only caught 3- 2 keepers.   1 on spook early;  1 on flutter spoon and 1 on C rig.   Saw lots of shad and fish, just couldn't get enough bites.

The fishing was tougher than a WalMart chuck roast.  But still good to get out, it was breezy so at least it wasn't uncomfortably hot.  Here's the flipped dock in Bearden.

Was that you launching, or the fellow we talked to out on the lake?

Yes we were in the Z20.  We went up to some always produces spots (not). Then we went to school house hollow and worked our way back.  I had several jig bites that wouldn’t take it and three come unbuttoned.  The only good thing was the wind which kept it bearable.

Yeah, I thought the wind might help some on the bite.    I had several bump the spook but not eat it.   The one I caught hit it 4 times before he finally got hooked.     Better days ahead hopefully.
